I've been practising yoga for 10 years, Bikram since 2004. My main motivation has been long term back pain, and I found that Bikram Yoga was the one that worked best for me. Practising yoga in the heat has made it easier and safer for me to stretch out the muscles in my back, and allowed me to build the strength I need to maintain a healthy spine.
I did my teacher training in 2006, and have been teaching since November 2006 in America, London and now Brighton.
The thing I love most about Bikram Yoga is that its for everyone, no matter what shape, size, age you are, no matter how strong, flexible or inflexible you are. The biggest pleasure I get from teaching is seeing the most unexpected people take up yoga and change their bodies and their lives, and that happens all the time.
I also believe in preventative medicine, and I think yoga is one of the most powerful preventative medicines that exists.
Alongside working as a Bikram Yoga Teacher, I DJ for Stompa Phunk in Brighton and study Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art & Design.
