It is sometimes a temptation to throw ourselves into our good intentions. Every body is different but we would advise a healthy diet while starting yoga. A detox effect will happen anyway with your yoga practice though stimulation of the lymphatic and digestive systems - however it is important you nourish your body properly. Bikram Yoga burns up to 550 calories per class.
